change product page SKU to include variant suffix

Hi,

I added the SKU field below the price on the 'advanced image viewer' xml template using the code from the 'variants in right sidebar'

<xsl:value-of select="aspdnsf:StringResource('showproduct.aspx.21', $LocaleSetting)" disable-output-escaping="yes" />

<xsl:value-of select="concat($pSKU, skusuffix)" />

That display package I would like to use has a dropdown to select variants and when you select one it updates the price. I would like it to update the SKU suffix from the variant as well.

Hmm, Eric it sounds like you are trying to create a javascript function to change the price shown on the product page based on the variant selected in drop down? Do you have a link?

Thank you,
Jan

Hi Jan

The price is already updating. I'm trying to get the variant SKU suffix to update as well.

Here is a link to a page with that display package.
http://aspdotnetstorefront.tractorseats.com/p-115425-km-1055-uni-pro-seat-suspension.aspx

Based on the HTML, I see the SKU is in the block that changes along with the Price...so perhaps check that the SKUs do differ for each variant and also that the XmlPackage which is generating the blocks for each variant is in fact printing the right SKU vs the default SKU.

Thank you,
Jan
