Is there a way to make the search results not as specific to the product name?

When a customer searches for a product in the search box, if they type text that isn't in the product name, the search results "your search did not result in any matches."

For example, we have a product named Waffle Weave Hand Towel - Classic Style.  If the customer searches just "hand towel" the search results will pull up the correct product, but if the customer searches "grey hand towel" it will not display any results.  Is there a way to make the search results not be as specified, so it shows similar products they may interested in?

Full text search can help with that kind of thing, if your host allows it.  It's a bit slower most of the time, but it'll have better luck with search strings that aren't exact matches.
