Something is going wrong with the topLogo class

Hello!

I EDITED THIS THREAD!

We are upgrading our MS from version 9.4.0.0 to 10.0.0.0 and we are experience a weird issue with the header picture (topLogo class from style.css).

My topLogo class is as below:
.topLogo
{
    float: left;
    width: 1226px;
    height: 136px;
    background: url(../images/header.png) no-repeat center center;
    margin-right: 0px;
    margin-left: 25px;
    display: block;
}

The problem is that it is showing up this way...

Notice that it is triplicated and I have no idea why. This is how it is declared in my template:

<body>
@Html.Partial("_BodyOpen")
<div class="wrapper">
        <div style="float: left">
            <a id="A1" class="topLogo" href="~/default.aspx" title="Mysite.com" />
        </div>
<td class="main_contents">
@RenderBody()
</td>
</div>
@Html.Partial("_BodyClose")
</body>

However if I drop the declaration with the css class and reference the image directly (like below) it works fine!

<body>
@Html.Partial("_BodyOpen")
<div class="wrapper">
        <div style="float: left">
<img src="/images/header.png" style="width: 1226px;height: 136px;"/>
        </div>
<td class="main_contents">
@RenderBody()
</td>
</div>
@Html.Partial("_BodyClose")
</body>

Any idea?

Thanks!

your images examples do not work and give a 404 response. Using a self closing tag on the hyper link looks to be part of the issue when testing the html segment my self.

try chaing the hyper link html to

<a id="A1" class="topLogo" href="~/default.aspx" title="Mysite.com" ></a>

Thank you very much, mmcgeachy... the self-closeing tab WAS the issue!

PS: The problem with my links was Google photos. I am going to move my pictures to another storage service for the next posts.
