Change color of username, login/logout, etc, in the main template?

Hopefully it's a simple one...

On MS 10.0.0 I would like to know how can I change the color of the text spitted out by

@Html.Action(ActionNames.Index, ControllerNames.UserLinks)

It is in a light blue that doesn't match our brand and design and so I would like to turn it into something darker. I tried to override the original color by putting it into a DIV and using the style property but it didn't work. Certainly it picks the style from somewhere else. Any clue?

Thanks!

Overall bootstrap sets links to a blue color. If you are just trying to make the user links then adding a color to a.user-link in base.css or themestyles.css should do what you want. For example the CSS below:

a.user-link {
	text-decoration: none;
	color: #446dcb;
}
